The ESP Edwards E-AL-166 Blacky is Alexi Laiho's stylish, black-toned signature handle. This Edwards Series model was originally made for the Japanese domestic market and is therefore rare outside Japan.

The guitar is handcrafted in Japan and features high quality tone woods and parts. The body is alder and the neck is made with a through-body construction of three pieces of maple. So there is plenty of sustain and access to the top frets is effortless. The top is ebony, there are 24 extra jumbo size frets and the 19-24 fret spacing is hollowed out.
