Under the rather mysterious-sounding Edwards brand is one of the more recognisable electric guitar manufacturers in the world - ESP, which hardly needs introducing to anyone. In contrast to the modern models in the ESP and LTD catalogue, Edwards guitars are a direct reference to the classics in design and sound. Production takes place in Japan and the instruments are fitted only with original components from brands such as Gotoh or Seymour Duncan. These instruments are a great alternative to American guitars and are unrivalled in their price class.
The Throbber is a guitar based on the form of the classic Telecaster, but with its own distinctive character. The combination of P.A.F.-style humbucker pickups and the classic P90 provides a rich and versatile sound palette. The instrument is fairly lightweight and well balanced - the neck has a modern C-style profile.
