The history of the Artist series dates back to the 1970s, but its greatest popularity came in the 1980s. After years of hiatus, Ibanez decided to resume production of this great model. The instrument differs significantly from what this Japanese manufacturer is famous for, i.e. super-fast "racers" with flat griffins and modern body shapes. Ibanez AR420 is a massive, fat-sounding guitar paddle, which will be perfect for blues music, rock and heavier metal climates. In a word - mahogany body and glued-in neck do their job. The AR520HFM model has a body with a resonance chamber in the style of semi-hollow guitars, which makes the sound of the guitar softer and deeper. The Super 58 pickups are reminiscent of the classic PAF design, which combined with the ability to decouple coils provides a very wide sound spectrum. The guitar is perfect for rock, blues and jazz sounds.
