Made in collaboration with the specialists at Gibson Custom Shop, this Epiphone model is an impressively effective recreation of one of the most important and popular guitar designs of all time. The Les Paul SG Standard pays homage to the legendary original - the first SG. It features a two-piece solid mahogany body with a double cutaway. The neck is also made of mahogany - its profile is a C-shaped SlimTaper, taken directly from the first SG Les Paul iterations. The guitar is equipped with a pair of Gibson BurstBucker pickups paired with CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, Graph Tech saddle, Switchcraft output jack and toggle-switch. Epiphone Deluxe tuners feature a vintage-inspired double ring design. Model also available in white. A vintage-style case is included.
