75 ohms right down the line! Both the cable and the RCA connectors that make up our SPDIX Video Cable have impedance of precisely 75 ohms. That richly deserves the cable’s three-star Superior rating! The SPDIX is based on our VL06L37 video cable, with a special stranding design that gives outstanding flexibility compared with conventional coaxial cables. And attenuation – such an important feature for video cables – is also excellent. The strands are enclosed in a PE insulating layer, then a braided shield (coverage > 85 %) with a rugged PVC outer jacket – yet the diameter is still under 6 mm. SPDIX is suitable for both S/PDIF signals and digital audio signals (MADI, Wordclock).
