The SC-Pegasus CMCK has a shielding that goes far beyond the demands normally put on a high-end multipair. It was equipped with an overall screen plus an individual screen per channel, each with 100 % optical coverage. The overall screen is made of a Cu cross mesh and the channel screens of a helical copper mesh with an additional conductive AL foil. Thus the SC-Pegasus CMCK is not only protected against external interferences, but the wire pairs are also perfectly separated and shielded against each other.
